Noodles and Mushrooms

 

Serves 6

1 pound medium wide egg noodles

1 Tbl vegetable oil

1 1/2 pounds fresh sliced mushrooms

4 Tbls butter

2/3 cup minced sautéed onion

2 egg yolks and 3 whole eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 cup grated swiss cheese

Bread Crumbs

4 Tbls melted butter

 

preheat oven to 350

cook noodles add oil to water


Sauté the mushrooms in 4 tbls of butter

fold mushrooms & onions into noodles

beat eggs with cream add salt and pepper pour over noodles

butter a baking dish 

place 1/4 noodles sprinkle with cheese repeat

sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with butter

Bake for 40 minutes serve hot
